Congratulations to the new parents!

The first of these was stitched in peaches and cream for a long service card; the lacy border was greatly admired and seemed appropriate to celebrate a baby's birth

Initially I have chosen the traditional pink and blue as colourways; the blue was the first, stitched for a baby boy expected in October.     It uses a lovely palette of variegated 'Iris' blues and I also use the same range of subtly shaded fairtrade cottons from House of Embroidery for the pink option.

I have designed another alphabet of capital letters for this baby card primarily because they are much easier for a child to read, if indeed the framed card does grace the bedroom wall, but also because they 'carry' the lovely thread so well.

It is stitched over two threads on Permin 30 count antique white linen.

Alternative colours, if you would rather avoid the traditional pink/blue choice, can be seen if you click on the 'related products' tab above. There you can see the peach colour I mentioned ...clicking on that congratulations card, under 'additional images', moss green and shades of mauve.

...I hope the choices available will enable you to embroider the sampler that is exactly right for you, but if there's another colour or alternative words that would suit you better please do get in touch and I'll help if I can.
